8:30pm: White Light Festival: The Soul’s Messenger with Meredith Monk and Vocal Ensemble in Concert. A fall festival at Lincoln Center (10 Lincoln Center Plaza, Upper West Side) from October 28 to November 18 with 21 performances over 22 days. The theme of this festival is “music’s unique emotional capacity to move us beyond ourselves and illuminate our larger interior universe.” according to Jane Moss, Vice President for Programming at Lincoln Center.
