If you love dancing then Midsummer Night Swing 2011 is the place to be between June 27th and July 16th this NYC summer. The dancing style changes nightly and includes tango, Soul Train party dancing, samba, swing, mambo, ballroom, salsa, hip hop and many more. Each night features a different live band to move your hips to.
Midsummer Night Swing 2011 opens at 6:00 pm. Dance lessons begin at 6:30 pm, and the live music begins at 7:30 pm.

Single day tickets are $17, 6 day passes are $90, and season passes are $160. Food is available at Street Food BBQ during the duration of the event. The food is inexpensive and is influenced by each country the music you dance to originates.
Take the 1 train to 66th Street or the A, B, C, or D train to Columbus Circle and walk west to to 62nd, between Columbus and Amsterdam.
