10. Bleecker Heights. 296 Bleecker Street, West Village. This second floor NYC sports bar has plenty of TVs and an excellent selection of imported beers on tap. The entrance is sort of hidden in the back of the NYC burger joint, Five Guys, below. Similar to NYC’s speakeasies. If you get hungry, go back downstairs, grab a burger, and take it upstairs to enjoy with your drink. The bar is small so come early to see the games if you want a seat. Sorry guys and gals this place is not open until 4am, midnights on weeknights and 2am on the weekends.
9. The RedHead NYC. 349 East 13th Street, East Village. Serves food and drinks. What every neighborhood NYC sports bar aspires to be. Unlike most NYC sports bars, they serve some of the best American food that reminds me more of home cooked meals. Get the pork chops and settle into March Madness and a great NCAA basketball tournament.
8. Standings. 43 E 7th Street, East Village. Surround yourself with all the NCAA basketball tournament games and eat free NYC pizza or free NYC bagels at this Manhattan sports bar. Award-winning, iconic East Village sports bar with plenty of flat screens and a digital projection screen making Nevada Smiths a popular bar to watch any favorite sports game. An upbeat, casual and friendly atmosphere. Most famous as the best soccer sports bar in the city.
6. Dram Shop. 339 9th Street, Brooklyn. Large screen TVs, free pool tables, board games, cheap beer and great tasting food make this our top Brooklyn sports bar. Dram Shop is known for their superb burgers. Do not skip on this sports bar’s delicious food menu.
