NYC Halloween Bar Crawl – Night of the Living Barcrawlers.  October 29, 2011 from 12:oo pm to 9:00 pm.  Tickets $10.  Hop from bar to bar in costume and enjoy special Halloween drinks and specials.  Visit barcrawls.com for more information and to purchase tickets.

Halloween Extravaganza and Procession of Ghouls at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine1047 Amsterdam Avenue at 112th Street.  After a screening of Phantom of the Opera (1925) the cathedral swarms with ghosts and ghouls thanks to Ralph Lee and the Mettawee River Theater Company.  Performances at 7 pm and 10 pm.  Visit stjohndivine.org for more details and to purchase ticket at $20.
