10. Hamlet, Prince of Denmark. World Financial Center Winter Garden, 220 Vesey Street. Daily April 1st to April 18th at 7:00 pm. A new way to perform Shakespeare that spans the indoor space of the World Financial Center. The audience must follow the performers through the 3.5 acre space. Presented by New York Classical Theatre. Audience members meet outside Starbucks at the World Financial Center Courtyard.
9. Immigrant Heritage Week. All boroughs, New York City. April 15th to the 21st. 100s of free events from art exhibitions to NYC walking tours and other celebrations of immigrants and their history with New York City. 8. Earth Day NY 2010 at Grand Central Terminal – Main Concourse & Vanderbilt Hall. 15 Vanderbilt Avenue. April 19th to the 25th. See Giant Earth Images projected on columns in the concourse, including pictures and quotes from famous artisits like Andy Warhol. See: NYC GREEN
7 & 6. The Danvilles & The Royal Chains Concert at The Studio at Webster Hall. 125 East 11th Street, East Village. These two alternative, pop, rock bands will be performing for free on Monday night at the intimate Studio at Webster Hall. Chill, good alternative music. No cover, doors open at 8 pm on Monday, April 12th.
