5. Fiddlesticks. 56 Greenwich Avenue, Greenwich Village. An Irish pub showing each 7:30 am game and 10:00 am with a special breakfast menu. Cheer England as they fight to move on from group C in the 2010 World Cup. Call 212-725-0555 to reserve a table.
4. Boqueria. 2 Locations – Boqueria Flatiron, 53 West 19th Street & Boqueria Soho, 171 Spring Street. Opens 9:30 am for the 10:00 am football match and is home to the Spanish squad. All 7:30 am games are replayed at noon. Special World Cup menu served until noon.
3. Loreley Restaurant and Biergarten. 2 Locations – 7 Rivington Street, Lower East Side & 64 Frost Street, Williamsburg, Brookyln. The place to watch Germany play in the 2010 World Cup and drink beer in Manhattan. The place is modeled after a Brauhaus in Cologne and the German draft beers are available in 1 liter steins. All games replayed in the evening.
2. I Tre Merli Restaurant & Bar. 463 West Broadway, SoHo. Watch the Italians play in the World Cup on their 6 ft by 10 ft plasma TV screen. A restaurant, not a sports bar, come to I Tre Merli Restaurant & Bar if you do not want to deal with the rowdy bar crowd or eat typical bar food while watching the football matches. 1. Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden. 2919 24th Avenue, Astoria, Queens. Come grab a pilsner and cheer on Slovakia. This 100 year old beer garden in New York city is open for the 10:00 am games. Large selection of Czech beer and traditional Czech food.
