5.  Balthazar Restaurant & Bakery.  80 Spring Street, SoHo.  One of the most popular French restaurants in Manhattan.  They have a huge menu with all the classic French dishes you expect.  The duck confit and braised lamb shanks are my favorite dinner entrees.  When I am in the mood for fish, the seared salmon, and roasted cod hit the spot.

4.  Adour. The St. Regis Hotel, 2 E 55th Street, Midtown East. Nestled in the elegant and historic St. Regis Hotel,  Adour is one of the most outstanding French restaurants in NYC owned by the famous Alain Ducasse.  To eat at one of the world’s most famous chefs, culinary school owner and cookbook author’s restaurant is a dream for any French cuisine lover.

3.  L’Absinthe Brasserie & Restaurant. 227 E 67th Street, Upper East Side. This Parisian-style bistro sticks to the traditional French classics.  World renowned Chef-Proprietaire, Jean-Michel Bergougnoux’s entrees are flavorful, succulent and made to perfection.  A glamorous French restaurant in the heart of Manhattan’s Upper East Side.  The best Parisian restaurant in New York City.
