“ CHELSEA — The High Line kicked off a Thursday-night outdoor film series for August with movies that got thumbs up from local teens.
Friends of the High Line, the group that runs the park, reached out to teenagers at nearby Robert Fulton Houses and Chelsea-Elliott Houses to develop a free movie series. The teens picked a set of inspirational movies featuring underdogs and themes of overcoming obstacles.
The free Thursday night screenings will be held on the High Line’s 14th Street Passage.
