When Knicks legend Walt “Clyde” Frazier wanted to open a restaurant on the far West Side of Manhattan, people thought the plan was as wacky as his famous colorful suits.
“Everyone was saying, ‘What is he doing? It’s so desolate,’ ” Frazier tells The Post of his Clyde Frazier’s Wine and Dine, which opened on 10th Avenue in 2012. “Early on, there was very little foot traffic other than [from the] Javits Center.”
