8. Angels On A Leash Best In Show Benefit. Prior Westminster Kennel Club “Best in Show” winning dogs star in this event on February 13th, 2010, including cocktails and appetizers from 5 to 7pm. Angels On a Leash uses dogs as therapy for those who are sick or disabled. Tickets $100 per person.
7. NYC Pet Show. Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 West 18th Street, Chelsea. May 22-23, 2010. The 30,000 square foot Metropolitan Pavilion hosts the NYC Pet Show presented by the American Pet Products Association. The NYC Pet Show offers an opportunity for local pet businesses and product vendors to demonstrate, display, and sell their products to pet consumers in the New York area. Includes talent and celebrity appearances.
6. Love Wanted: Lovey-Dovey Pet Adoption Event. Our Saviors Lutheran Church 414 80th Street, between 4th & 5th Avenue, Bay Ridge, Brooklyn (take R Train to 77th Street). February 13, 2010. Adopt a dog or puppy and save it’s life. Animals provided by the North Shore Animal League and Animal Care and Control of NYC.
5. Pet Fashion Week NY 2010. August, NYC (date and venue TBA). This event focuses on showcasing the most innovative and newest high end products in pet industry. Vendors must apply to qualify for the event. New pet products includes pet food, apparel, grooming, bedding, fragrances, collars, leashes, and toys.
