Take this tour through New York City’s best holiday window displays this December. Lines and crowds form so come early and be prepared to wait.
10. Bloomingdales. 1000 Third Avenue, and 59th Street. Usually the best holiday window displays in NYC. This year they feature Santa Claus, superheros, the Obamas, and much more.
9. Barneys New York. 660 Madison Avenue, and 61st Street. Always creatively and artistically themed windows displays.
8. Apple Store. 767 Fifth Avenue. Yes, there is another store on here with no window display. This giant glass cube is Apple’s flagship store and a beautiful example of modern architecture.
7. FAO Swartz. 767 Fifth Avenue. Okay so they technically do not have window displays. However, walking through FAO Swartz you will find it decked out for the holiday season. See giant stuffed animals, objects built from Legos, and the famous giant piano featured in the movie Big.
6. Bergdorf Goodman. 754 Fifth Avenue. These displays captures surrealism, style, and antiques. Some of their windows belong in MoMA.
