10. New York Philharmonic: New Year’s Eve: Hampson, Gershwin, Copland & Broadway. Avery Fisher Hall, 10 Lincoln Center Plaza. The show kicks off at 7:30PM.  Listens to the sounds of American music by the New York Philharmonic. Tickets range from $67 to $257.

9. New Year’s Eve Bike Ride. Meet at Washington Square Park, 10:30PM under the arch. The bike ride starts at 10:30PM and ends at Belvedere Castle in Central Park with the New Year’s fireworks show.

8. New Year’s Eve Emerald Nuts Midnight Run. 72nd Transverse at Bethesda Terrace. Not a party animal and feel like doing something different?  Go for a 4 mile midnight run and watch NYC’s New Year’s Celebration Fireworks Show.  You must register and sign a waiver to run.  Contact nyrr.org for more information.

7. Hudson Terrace New Year’s Eve 2010. 621 West 46th Street. Hudson Terrace is an exclusive private event space that is opening to the public for New Year’s.  Party like Prince, John Legend, and Derek Jeter on the Hudson Terrace while gazing at the New York City skyline. Listen to the hottest DJs and enjoy the top shelf 7-hour open bar. Tickets start at $145 for General Admission.

6. New Year’s Eve Party at STK26 Little West 12th Street. This place was voted the sexiest lounge in the Meatpacking District.  Dress to impress from 8:00PM to 4:00AM.  5-hour open bar from 9:00PM to 2:00AM.  Cover is $115 to $185.
