New York City’s 10 Best Easter Egg Hunts (5 to 1)

5.  The Great Easter Egg Hunt. PS/IS 89 at 201 Warren Street, Downtown. On Saturday, April 3rd, 11 am to 1 pm, kids can take pleasure in an Easter egg hunt, games, crafts, prizes and a chance to take a photo with the Easter bunny.  This free event is sponsored by the Lower Manhattan Community Church.  Egg hunt is for toddlers to 3rd graders.

4.  Spring Celebration at Morningside Park. 121st Street near Morningside Avenue in Morningside Park, Harlem. Enjoy the Easter and Spring Celebration at this beautiful historic 30 acre park with games, face painting and of course an Easter egg hunt.  This free event is on Saturday April 3rd from 1:30 – 3:00 pm.

3.  Senator Marty Golden’s Annual Easter Egg HuntMcKinley Park, 75th Street and Fort Hamilton Parkway, Brooklyn.  Bring your children to this candy filled egg hunt with over 1000 eggs.  Other activities include face painting, clowns, and racing events.  Saturday, April 3, 2010, 2:00 to 4:00 pm.  Come early to avoid large lines.

2.  Barnyard Easter Egg Hunt. Queens Farm Museum, 73-50 Little Neck Parkway, Floral Park, Queens. For $5 per person, the Queens Farm Museum will hold an Easter egg hunt in the orchard. Visit the farm animals and play Easter games at this four hour event on Saturday, April 3rd, 12 pm – 4 pm.

1.  Brooklyn Heights Promenade Spring Egg HuntPierrepont Playground, Columbia Heights and Pierrepont Streets, Brooklyn.  Arrive with your little ones on April 3rd at 10:00 am.  Event includes candy, treats, and balloons for children.  Purchase some goodies at their bake sale to help raise money for the Brooklyn Heights Playground Committee.  To volunteer for the Spring Egg Hunt email info@bhplaygrounds.org.
