10 Things To Do in New York City in March, 2010

10.  Victor Fleming Festival. The Film Forum, 209 West Houston Street, SoHo. On March 5-18, the Film Forum will be celebrating the legendary 1930s director, Victor Fleming, who filmed some of our most popular classics including The Wizard of Oz and Gone with the Wind.  More than 20 films will be revisited and shown over the two-week festival.  Admission is only $12.

9.  March Madness Basketball. The NCAA tournament is here again.  Watch the games at one of NYC’s 10 Best Sports Bars.

8.  Prospect Park Spring Duathlon. Prospect Park Willink Entrance Off of Flatbush, 435 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn. Kick off the first day of Spring at the Prospect Park Spring Duathlon. For $75 or $80, join the 3.1 mile run, then 14 mile bike, to finish with a 3.1 mile run and be fit for your warm sunny and beach days in the coming months.  There are other NYC Running Events and Races occurring in March.
