3. Ice Skating. A fun attraction for both adults and children in NYC. Many flock to Rockefeller Center or Bryant Park to ice skate. If you want to escape the large tourist crowd, go to the ice rink in Central Park. Ice skating in Central Park is also more peaceful and quiet compared to the loud rink in Rockefeller Center.
4. Radio City Rockettes. Radio City Music Hall, 1260 Avenue of the Americas (6th ave) and 50th street. One of the most famous winter Christmas shows in New York City. The Radio City Rockettes have been performing their Radio City Christmas Spectacular for over 75 years. Tickets start at $40.
5. The Nutcracker. A classic Christmas story. A cheaper Christmas show is Balanchine’s The Nutcracker. It is performed by the New York City Ballet at the Lincoln Center and tickets are as low as $10! You can’t beat that!
