5. Brooklyn Brewery#1 Brewers Row.  79 North 11th Street, Brooklyn.  Free Tour on Saturdays.  Brooklyn once had more breweries than any other area in the country with 45 breweries.  Take a tour of the only Brooklyn brewery that exists today.

1. Ellis Island Free Ranger-Guided ToursTake the Ellis Island – Liberty Island Ferry from Battery Park. This place is so much more interesting than Liberty Island and the Statue of Liberty.  Experience what travelers went through as they arrived to by boat to Ellis Island during the immigrant screening process in order to enter the US.  The free tour lasts about 45 minutes.  No tickets needed.  To take the tour meet the tour guide at the top of each hour next to the information desk where the sign is posted at Ellis Island.
