5:00 pm to 8:00 pm – Marie Claire and Garnier Fructis Event. 24th Street Loft, 148 West 24th Street, between 6th & 7th Avenues. Free gift bag, Fructini cocktails, and blow outs along with advice from Marie Claire’s beauty editor.
6:00 pm to 7:30 pm – Bryant Park Fall Festival. Bryant Park, 40th to 42nd Streets, between 5th & 6th Avenue, Midtown. Free classical, jazz, opera, and dance performances from the top artists in the city. Featured show is Bryant Park Fall Festival: New York City Ballet.
7:00 pm – Spain Loves NY. Room Mate Grace Hotel on 125 West 45th Street. During Fashion Week NYC, celebrate the launch of Babylon magazine. Babylon is a free magazine featuring and celebrating Spanish culture in both Spanish and English.
Tuesday, September 14

6:30 pm – Reggie Watts Comedy and Musical Performance. Myrtle Lawn at Fort Green Park at Myrtle Avenue and Cumberland Street, Brooklyn. Come see Conan O’Brien’s opening act from his summer show after leaving NBC. Additional musical performances by Naomi Shelton and the Gospel Queens.
8:00 pm – Rasberry Brothers Double Feature. Knitting Factory, 361 Metropolitan Avenue, Brooklyn. A mix of film and live comedy show by the Brooklyn comedians known as the Rasberry Brothers. Films include Flashdance and Dirty Dancing.
Wednesday, September 15

2:00 pm - 84th Annual Feast of San Gennaro. Little Italy, Manhattan. September 16th to September 26th. The longest running and largest outdoor religious festival in the country celebrating the Patron Saint of Naples. Opening day starts with a Cannoli eating contest at 2:00 pm, the Blessing of the Stands from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and musical performances starting at 7:30 pm.
