2.  Ethnically Diverse Restaurants. Queens has some of the best multi-ethnic cuisine in New York at great prices.  You will find quality and depth in the ethnic food at a fraction of the price of any Manhattan restaurant.  Great Chinese restaurants can be found in downtown Flushing’s Chinatown, which is the second largest Chinatown in NYC.  Some other great ethnic restaurants can be found on Roosevelt Avenue.  We also love the Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden on 29-19 24th Avenue, Queens.  See: Best Restaurants and Food in NYC

1.  Flushing Meadows Corona Park. 110-1 Corona Avenue, Queens, New York. Located in the heart of Queens, this park is the second largest public park in New York City (Pelham Bay Park in the Bronx is the largest) at over 1,250 acres. It was created as the site of the 1939-1940 New York World’s Fair and also hosted the 1964-1965 New York World’s Fair.  One the most famous features of the park is the 140-foot tall Unisphere structure (pictured), which was built as the theme symbol for the 1964-1965 World’s Fair.  Among other great features is Meadow Lake, USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center (see #3) and Citi Field (see #6), Queens Theatre in the Park, the New York Hall of Science, and the Queens Museum of Art (see #5).  See: Parks & Recreation in NYC
