9. Alice Guy Blaché: Cinema Pioneer. Whitney Museum of American Art; 945 Madison Ave. Explore the life and work of the first female director; 1896-1920.
10. Kandinsky at the Guggenheim Museum. 1071 Fifth Ave. The Kandinsky exhibition last day is January 13th. Take a look at his early 20th century ground breaking paintings. Also, make sure you stop by the Anish Kapoor sculpture.
