7. Joanna Malinowska, Time of Guerilla Metaphysics. Canada; 55-59 Chrystie Street. See the art and anthropology mixture through January 24th. Free.
8. Silk and Bamboo: Music and Art of China. Metropolitan Museum of Art; 1000 Fifth Avenue. See pieces of art collaborated with musical instruments explaining the history of music in China from the 5th century to the present. This exhibit is shown through February 7th, 2010 and tickets are $20 for adults.
9. Patricia Cronin, Harriet Hosmer, Lost and Found. Brooklyn Museum; 200 Eastern Parkway. View Cronin’s watercolors of Hosmer’s sculptors. You can see her work through January 24th. Free admission.
10. Read My Pins: The Madeleine Albright Collection. Museum of Arts & Design; 2 Columbus Circle. Features more than 200 pins from the first female Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright’s personal jewelry collection. Many pieces she wore during her diplomatic tenure. You can see this exhibit all month, till the 31st of January. Tickets are $15 for adults.
